Farez Reza

Manager, Programme & Facilitation

Farez Reza fuses a background in financial, business development, sales & marketing. He has over 12 years of experience in spearheading multiple initiatives while working with advertising, Telco, events, training & banking. Farez has led numerous marketing and business development initiatives to increase market awareness, generated leads and resulted in increasing their sales, profitability and value.

 

Farez has assisted businesses in leading and advisory on areas of market strategy, product and service design, marketing positioning of online strategies and alliances.

In training, assist in facilitating in training seminars, workshops and team building. With diverse knowledge in wealth management he has also trained a group of financial consultants and their sales team.

​

Paired with strong financial advisory background & understanding in financial planning, with 4 years experience in Islamic banking and Investment advisory for individual and corporate.

 

Before, Farez served as Business development manager for Amilin TV, a media startup specializing in news coverage for Islamic Finance and halal industry.

Before joining Amilin TV, Farez was Corporate communications manager for KFH Kuwait Finance Malaysia. Prior to KFH, Farez directed marketing & strategic advertising for Ruumz a social media platform for Green Packet Berhad (now Telekom Malaysia owned-company).

 

Farez is a graduate of RMIT Royal Melbourne Institute Technology with a bachelors degree in Business and Multimedia studies. Farez also holds a certificate in Financial Investment planning and is also CFP Certified financial planner from FPAM.

Liyana Idris

Manager, Project & Operations

Liyana Idris is a versatile executive, trusted business partner and client advocate with 14+ years of experience in established, start-up, and on/offshore – Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments. She excels at generating and maximizing revenue, recommending high-impact yet low-risk solutions that help small and corporate businesses achieve profitability and individual clients reach their financial goals, and delivering unparalleled customer service.

 

Liyana’s unique and wide-ranging skillset has enabled her to successfully contribute in a variety of roles, including revenue management, professional services, project management, product management and account management.

Liyana possesses broad expertise in the IT, Telecommunications, Government, and Banking industry and holds an HND in Engineering, Business Information Technology. She graduated from British Malaysian Institute, University Kuala Lumpur and has held key-account management roles, and built strong working relationships with diverse organizations during her stint at Asia Telecoms, Scicom Berhad, Efficient E-Solutions Berhad, Privasia Technology Berhad and Mesiniaga Alliances Berhad.

 

She gained substantial global experience managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects in Australia, United States and ASEAN countries. She is a strong team-builder and motivator who leads by example and improves productivity among management, professional, and employees.

 

Liyana formed her own consulting and training firm, Jendela Ilmu Solutions; spearheading the operations in 2013 to provide learning and skills enhancement to employers, employees and individuals of companies and organizations. Designs, develops and delivers subject matter and content by engaging learners to become more reflective, affective and passionate about their performance, actions and behaviour.

 

With aims to instill positive values at the personal as well as professional levels so that learners become more passionate and committed in fulfilling their needs and bring along new and captured experiences.

Rahimah Yeop

Director, Learning & Development

35 years of experience behind her. Before this, Rahimah was a Senior Programme Coordinator at the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Malaysia, coordinating the Economic and Public Diplomacy Programme at IDFR since January 1996.

 

She conducts workshops and lectures in areas of negotiations, communication skills, liaison duties, cross-cultural communication, protocol, social and dining etiquette, personal grooming and media skills.

 

In that 35 years in the Malaysian Government, she served in the Prime Minister’s department, Consulate of Malaysia in Sydney Australia; the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) and the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN). Other than government departments, she has also facilitated courses for the private sector, banks, universities, schools, NGOs and overseas – Brunei, Myanmar, Tanzania and India.

 

Before joining the Malaysian civil service, she was a journalist with The New Straits Times. Rahimah attained her Diploma in Mass Communication majoring in Journalism from UITM and an M.A. in Journalism and International Affairs from Ohio University, USA. She also has a Diploma in Public Administration from INTAN, attended a course on “Train the Trainer” under the auspices of the Commonwealth Secretariat and Effective Presentation Skills from Peter Rogen Malaysia.

 

She also attended a Seminar on Negotiations in Singapore - jointly organized by the University of Singapore, Harvard Negotiation Project and CMI Claris and also a Negotiation Workshop under the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at the Harvard Law School in June 2002.

​

Rahimah is also a certified trainer :  

HRDF - Human Resource Development Fund / PSMB - Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad and prestigious City & Guilds facilitator.
